Free Design Consultation

“A well designed garden can add significant value to your home.”

The free garden design consultation takes around an hour, and includes a brief survey of your garden.

We are often asked ‘how much does a garden design cost’, we can’t answer that accurately until we have carried out the free consultation, however our design fees start from £500 and increase in cost based on size and complexity.

Based on the results from the free garden design consultation, we create a unique 3D concept of your new garden to help you visualise the space.

Once you are happy with the concept, we will begin your unique garden design drawings, including construction, planting and lighting plans.

These garden design plans are the blueprints for your garden, used by the contractors, as well as the garden design blueprints they also include a comprehensive list of materials and plant specifications.

The initial design consultation is free!

During the consultation our designers will ask you questions about:

  • your lifestyle

  • how you envisage using the garden

  • styles you like (contemporary, traditional, cottage, etc)

  • colours you like

  • how many you usually entertain

This builds a picture which we use to guide the design focus e.g. will the garden be for:

  • entertaining

  • enjoying at a distance

  • relaxing in

  • a family play area

    Or any combination of these.

Other important factors taken into account include:

  • your level of gardening commitment

  • your interest (very little to enthusiastic)

  • the budget you have in mind

  • when you would like construction to commence

At the end of the consultation our designer will conduct a survey of your garden. We take all of your answers and compile them to form ‘the Brief’ and in conjunction with the survey, we create your bespoke garden concept.

The consultation is just the first stage of the garden design process.
